Facility

Imaging at the NIC is performed on a whole body Siemens 3 Tesla TIM Trio scanner with a 12-channel head coil, neck and spine coils. For functional MRI (fMRI) studies, the facility has hardware and software for presentation of visual and auditory stimuli, as well as the recording of button presses, eye-movement, galvanic skin response, pulse oximetry, respiration and EKG.
